THE JOURNEY:
We begin by hand selecting our imported and domestic hardwoods in the sawmill.
We ensure that our lumber are kiln dried and ready for further processing.
It then goes into the planing, jointing and sanding process.
Combination wood products are glued using the best wood glue.

This is now clamped and left for 24 hours for a full cure.
Further sanding is done after the different wood species have bonded to leave a smooth finish.
Then off to the CNC it goes for the profiling.
Final sanding is done and food safe mineral oil is applied to the trays to bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain.

Due to the nature of natural wood, grain direction, hue and knots will all be unique which gives it character. Even from the same slab, every segment is uniquely beautiful.
